Dance Industry take on pupils of all ages, ability and gender as we believe that everyone should have equal opportunities – whether its for fun or for a future career.  Training in dance and theatre arts provides and improves on skills including confidence, team work, discipline, creativity and fitness.

Dance Industry holds regular examinations through Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and LAMDA.

These are recognised qualifications within the National Curriculum. Exams are a way of helping pupils progress through the school and gain a sense of achievement.

We have always encouraged pupils to reach their full potential and as a result many of them go on to study at professional colleges and make a career in the entertainments industry. Alumni credits include West End, cruise ships, TV, film, touring and choreography contracts for TV and music videos.

Established in 1985, Dance Industry has 3 studios; all have sprung floors, barres and mirrors. The school is based in the original ‘Body Shop’ factory which was owned and run by the late Anita Roddick during the early stages of her business, so the building holds lots of history which we have tried to preserve. We are right behind Littlehampton High Street which means shops and car parks are close by.
